It's hard to get "straight talk" from advisors or Wall Street when it comes to making wise financial decisions. The financial industry is designed to sell products and earn fees and commissions. That's always good for them, but often not so good for you. Remember, no matter if you are losing money or not, they are collecting fees and commissions from your account the whole time. Remember, it's your money God has entrusted to you to manage for Him. Stewardship is really about responsibility and doing the right things. You don't have to follow the heards of financially uneducated people off the cliff. There are better ways.

Christians have choices, good choices. You don't have to risk money in the stock market. There are conservative ways you can build and cras-proof your investments and savings. Never give back what you have already earned. That's the way you build wealth. You worked hard for your money and savings. Why let the markets take away what you worked so hard to earn. That just doesn't make sense, does it? Acutally, it never did.

The plans of the diligent lead to profit as surely as haste leads to poverty. Proverbs 21:5
